WHEN LYME REOCCURS YOU CAN HIDE OR GET IN THE FIGHT

THIS IS ME FIGHTING LYME.  I'M 100% IN

01/02/2020. The day I realized my Lyme disease came back.  Long story short.  I had Lyme for 12 years. Lived a roller coaster life from Hell.  Got better, got sicker, got better until finally  I became my own advocate.  I educated myself which resulted in being completely healed.  I lived Lyme free for 6 years.   Six amazing uplifting years.

Why did it come back? Well funny story.  I am proactive when it comes to my health.  I maintain a healthy routine.  It has become a way of life.  I know that if I ever get into a weakened enough state Lyme could reappear. I firmly believe that if your body is strong enough Lyme will not have the strength to reoccur.

This way of thinking worked for 6 years.  I had several health issues and Lyme did not come back.  I even survived a divorce of 25 years.  Most recent, I had an 18 month battle with TMJ.  I saw many specialists and finally found my cure.  What I realized is that my bite was off and until I fixed my bite my TMJ would never really be corrected.  A mouth guard could keep the TMJ in check but the underlying cause would not be addressed. I moved forward to correct my bit to ultimately keep my body in the best shape I could.

I heard that little voice in my head saying “Candace the shifting of your teeth and the major pain you are feeling can’t be good”.   I even voiced this question to my Dentist when I asked, “Do you think the shifting of my teeth could bring back my Lyme?”  He hesitated......... He hesitated!  I should have known then and started proactive measures but I had gotten complaisant.  I thought my body was tough enough and I was fine.  After all, I had been Lyme free for six years.

Boy was I wrong!  Let’s skip forward 5 weeks.  I’m adjusting and working my plan.  I have not gotten any worse and my Lyme is in check.  I am reversing my symptoms and working several protocols that I know work well for me.  I was quick to diagnose my Lyme so it did not have a long time to take hold. My best guess is that it was active for only about 6 weeks when I discovered it.

This is a hard post to write.  I want everyone to know that Lyme returning did not break me.  I am as strong as I was before and I know I will beat this yet again.  I will be posting to help everyone know that you can beat Lyme. There is a step by step unique process that is individual for everyone.  I can help you understand your own body and how you can take steps to become your own advocate.

I am not defined by my Lyme disease and I am prepared to do battle and kick this disease yet again.  Unfortunately, I just heard from my dentist and I have another 31 trays to complete with my Invisalign.  My original treatment plan consisted of 28 trays.  So not only did I waste 28 weeks of my life and shift my teeth which resulted in my Lyme returning, I now have to continue with 31 more trays while treating for Lyme.  Bring it on! I got this!

Follow along my journey and feel free to ask questions.  Together we can fight harder!
